PUNKROCK ON THE DANUBE 2026 - a unique summer cruise full of music, beer and friends! + launch of the PALEC band's new album
On Friday, August 21, 2026, Bratislava will experience something that is rarely seen. On board the cruise ship, there will be an exceptional evening punk rock cruise on the Danube called PUNKROCK ON THE DANUBE.
Entrance to the deck will be open from 5:00 p.m. and at exactly 6:00 p.m. the ship will embark on a round trip along the route Bratislava – Čunovo – Bratislava, during which honest Slovak punk rock will be carried along the Danube until 10:00 p.m.
On board will be two bars with well-chilled beer and other drinks available to visitors, the restaurant in the lower part of the ship will also be open, a great atmosphere, wonderful views of the surroundings of Bratislava or the Danube in the evening, and above all, concerts by three bands that belong to the best that the Slovak punk rock scene has to offer.
ZONE A
The legend of the Slovak punk scene, which was founded in Bratislava as early as 1984. Generations of fans grew up listening to songs like Potopa, Chleba, Lucia or Kde ste boli, Maybe, Génius or other gems that you definitely caught not only on rock radios. More than four decades on the stage make Zóna A one of the most important bands of domestic punk rock. This year, the band is also preparing to release its groundbreaking new album.
EXTIP
The Bratislava band EXTIP is one of the oldest Slovak punk-rock'n'roll formations. He has been active on the scene since the beginning of the 80s and has a rich discography and hundreds of concerts behind him. Their energetic performances and unmistakable handwriting have earned them the respect of fans across generations. They are currently working on new songs and preparing a new album.
PALEC
The local Bratislava band PALEC brings honest rock and punk with their own lyrics and distinctive sound. He has three high-quality melodic albums to his credit and constantly brings new work. It is on this cruise, on the stage of the ship, that the ceremonial christening of their new album entitled POSLEDNÁ VÍSTRAHA will take place, which will give the entire cruise an even more special atmosphere.
PUNKROCK ON THE DANUBE will not be just a classic concert. It will be an unforgettable cruise on the Danube, a summer evening full of close friends, fans of good music, laughter, fun and good mood, beer, singing and punk rock energy. You will also be able to buy band merch on the ship (t-shirts, sweatshirts, patches, stickers, CDs, LPs, etc.)
