In harmony with nature and its annual cycles
For children aged 3 and over, duration approx. 45 minutes
In winter it is cold and dark. Nature rests and gathers strength for a new beginning. Jan is also resting. He knows when the year begins again, when the plants produce their first buds. He observes how the insects are attracted to the flowers, do their work, and how fruits ripen. Until autumn and the end of the harvest allow everything to calm down again. A round dance! Jan happily dances with him.
Auguste enters. She finds winter too dark and cold and many things take too long. She needs more warmth and more space for ideas and projects that make her life comfortable. She doesn't want to wait that long! How long can Jan and nature dance along with her intoxication?
A piece for understanding that we are part of nature. A plea for mindfulness and some peace. Children know this intuitively and just need to be encouraged.
