About event
A talk about the life of the Rendille tribe with Anežka Pěnkavová at the Visitor Center of the Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague.
Come and listen to a story about the life of the Rendille tribe in the Marsabit region of northern Kenya, where drought, lack of water and difficult living conditions have long plagued the local community. Based on her own volunteer experience, Anežka Pěnkavová will present the cooperation with the local community and the Kenyan missionaries who have been working there since 2013.
You will learn what the daily life of the local people looks like, what challenges the region faces, but you will also get to know the rich culture of the Rendille tribe and their strong sense of community life, which can be an inspiration for us. The discussion will also include personal experiences from visiting Marsabit and photos from this area.
Anežka Pěnkavová, a student of the Evangelical Theological Faculty of the UK and the Hussite Theological Faculty of the UK, is looking forward to seeing you.
