About event
On the last day of the PUTIN'S CAGE exhibition, you can personally support the people unjustly imprisoned by the Russian regime and write them a letter. These writings are really important for them!
🌑 Many of them may not survive Russian prisons in good health, who knows if at all... The only light of hope that sometimes manages to be brought behind the walls of prisons is often just your letters.
💬 "A letter is like a breath of fresh air for me. First, it is the only connection to the outside world. Second, it's a huge boost. You can't give up when you know so many people believe you're right.” (Olga Bendas)
-------------------- ----------
✖️ A 16-year-old boy did not agree with the politics of his country, he was sentenced to 5 years in a juvenile correctional facility, where he is exposed to psychological and physical violence.
✖️ A 68-year-old historian who "returned the names" to thousands of victims of Stalin's terror is now sentenced to 15 years in prison.
✖️ A 19-year-old medical student who wanted to help people in war zones is now being held in custody for his anti-war stances...
...This is just a fraction of the stories covered in our PUTIN'S CAGE exhibition, and an even smaller fraction of those unjustly held in Russian prisons. Come support them with us! 🕊️
