About event

We invite you to our collage workshop, where we will work with images, feelings and states of mind through pictures.

During the workshop, we will talk about how collage became a language of art and self-discovery, how the famous Ukrainian-Armenian director Sergei Parajanov used collage, what composition is, and how you can convey your own story in a single collage using old magazines.

During the event, each participant will create their own visual collage in response to their inner experiences. Here you can enjoy a cosy space and a safe atmosphere where you can relax, meet like-minded people, distract yourself and simply create — even if you have no previous experience.

The workshop will be led by Olga Sharafanenko, an artist and art therapist from Ukraine who works at the intersection of collage, photography and body practices. In her projects, Olga explores themes of memory, identity and inner states through visual language.
