🌈 On December 11, during a new Queer Pioneers, we will be showing YOUNG HEARTS, the feature debut of the Flemish director Anthony Schatteman - for everyone who has forgotten what a first love feels like.
💕 About YOUNG HEARTS:
14-year-old Elias lives with his parents in a small town in the countryside of Flanders. He has a lot of friends and even a girlfriend – a very normal existence. Until new people from Brussels come to live in the house opposite him, including his peer Alexander. Elias is immediately attracted to him, and fortunately the feeling turns out to be mutual. Soon a very warm bond develops between the two. Elias discovers that he is truly in love with someone for the first time – with Alexander. But how will his parents and friends react to this?
🗣️ Director Anthony Schatteman himself will be present this evening! Before the film, he joins QP curator Renske.
