We invite you to an event realized as part of the Queer Vibes project, on which we cooperate with the Association of Parents and Friends of LGBTI People and the Slovak National Center for Human Rights.
The goal of the Queer Vibes project is and was to create a safe space for culture, education and a deeper understanding of the position of LGBTIQ+ people in Slovakia. In addition to dozens of community meetings or professional quantitative and qualitative research, we presented the para_nonnormal production and published two sets of comics. They continued our historical research and capture of queer memory, we created the exhibition We owe it to them and captured monuments and memorials for the needs of www.queermemory.eu
The closest we see is a program that combines discussion, film and visual creation.
What can you look forward to?
💬 Open forum: A discussion space focused on community life of LGBTI people. We are interested in your experiences and opinions.
🎬 Film: Screening of the film We want to shout something to you - a documentary that brings closer the activities and attitudes of parents of LGBTIQ+ people.
🎶 Musical guest: The evening will be complemented by a musical performance.
📖 New magazine and comics: Right on the spot you can flip through the fresh spring issue of QYS magazine (2026) and both sets of project comics.
Come and spend time in a friendly environment, where there is room for open dialogue and high-quality cultural production.
