About event
🇵🇸 QUEER CINEMA FOR PALESTINE 🍉
👥🧆Come 5.7. for a screening of short films with a Palestinian theme, and a joint dinner at Kubík.
🎞️We were able to put together this event thanks to the international film initiative Queer Cinema for Palestine, thanks to which short films with diverse perspectives and artistic approaches will be shown in almost 60 countries around the world at 300 screening events during the month of June. In Slovakia, the films will be screened a total of 5 times:
🍉here (@kubicnapadov) 5.6. . with persons who sacrificed much more in the fight for a free/free Palestine - they organize protests or public events, actively share information online or offline, tried to bring humanitarian aid to Palestine - and were illegally detained in international waters by Israeli offensive forces, or directly in the territory of the West Bank they helped families who experienced daily attacks by the occupiers and Israeli offensive forces. It is important for us to draw attention to the connection between the path to queer liberation and anti-colonial resistance and the ongoing struggle against the occupation of Palestine.
🎟️ Entry is free, but there will be a possibility of a contribution for a specific Palestinian family.
