“I wanted to know who I am” was the first revolutionary penalty sentence of the beginning of democracy in Portugal, still heard on April 24, 1974, at 10:55 pm, in the waves of associated broadcasters. The first verse of the song and after the goodbye, full of individual and collective questioning, sung by Paulo de Carvalho, marks the historical moment of the start of the revolution, making a song of love in a symbol of freedom. April 25, bringing to the stage young actors/singers, chosen in a nationwide hearing, and placing in their voices and their bodies today, and of the future, the memory of the words of freedom. The April 24, 2025 session is exclusive to school.
