Hey, my name is eavo and I invite you to my quiz. It's called Quizzy Barrel and is intended for teams. An exciting evening awaits you, in which, in addition to the competitive element, the entertainment aspect is at the forefront, and in which you will hopefully leave with a few more exciting stories than you came in with.
Look forward to colorful questions about curiosities and interesting things from all sorts of areas, for example current affairs, the animal world, the Internet, society, (pop) culture, literature, cinema or even natural science, history and geography. And to be honest: I don't ask many sports and gossip questions, but those can happen from time to time.
My questions are written for teams and are therefore not always easy, but you can figure out a lot of the answers. I often offer a second solution. And if the answer isn't completely wrong, I'm happy to give half the points.
Urgent recommendation: Reserve a table at [email protected]. Please state the team name and expected team size - if you already know it - and then make your reservation half an hour before the quiz starts. Of course you can also come by if you're lucky. There are often a few non-reservable seats in the counter area.
How it goes:
- We play in teams with a maximum of six players. For reasons of fairness, I deduct three points as a penalty for each excess person.
- There are a total of ten categories. Seven of these consist of six reading questions each (two points each). During the two evaluation breaks you will deal with twelve picture questions (one point each). In addition, a special category category awaits you at the end of the second round (also one point each). So in total we play 78 questions, for which you can get 120 points.
- Please do not use cell phones or similar tools, otherwise it won't be fun.
- The prizes are food vouchers.
- Participation fee: €4 per person.
- Duration: approx. three to three and a half hours.
- Level of difficulty: approx. 7/10.

Note I: The Sisyfass is a smoking bar, so entry is only possible for those aged 18 and over.
