About event

This time, the South Korean conductor Han-Na Chang, currently head of the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra in Norway, will be led by radio symphonics. Its musical starting point is a cello game, which she studied at the age of 90 in the US near Mstislav Rostropovich, exile Russian cellist and conductor. She debuted with the baton later, in 2007. In the Czech premiere she will present a new composition Phantasma by the current Austrian author Bernd Richard Deutsch. The composer was inspired by the famous Viennese frieze of Gustav Klimt from 1902 playing the decorative artistic means of Beethoven ninth symphony and its famous ode to joy . Deutsch's imaginative use of a large orchestra can perceive the listener as the music equivalent of Klimt's way of using colors. Another part of the concert program is two opulent scores of Russian classics in the first half of the 20th century. Rapsody on Paganini's topic Sergei Rachmanin is a virtuoso work conceived in the spirit of composer's piano concerts. fifth of seven symphonies of Sergei Prokofyev, his most famous, most accessible and most popular, dated to 1944. They responded to the Bolshevik Revolution of Emigration to the West. Rachmaninov never looked into his native country, but Prokofiev at the age of 30 was tempted by the Soviet regime to return.
