About event
✨ Last year Opulence, this year's Riviera. The three -part concert series Radio Wave and the visual program under the curatorial leadership of the art team for the city (the Gallery of the City of Prague) returns to the flashy gardens of Troja Castle. It will offer six concerts, three performances of works of art, two debates and one listening walk.
The theme of Riviera is spending free time. ☀️☀️☀️
✨ Can we still hang out? Can we regenerate with mere rest, or do we focus on performance in our free time? The series freely follows the exhibition of the palace of (free) time, which takes place in the interiors of the chateau and everything is thematized by contours of the Baroque palace, which at the time of its inception served as a refuge for the nobility for spending free summer moments. Do we grow listening
What and how do we hear when we take off our headphones? And are we really listening to it? What relationship do we have to the sound landscape of the city? What do different sounds do with us? And what is our noisy civilization with our planet?
Let's tune in to the audio landscape of the Trojan Castle before the concert and talk about the care of hearing, conscious listening, acoustic ecology and ways to not only obtain information about the world, but also to build respectful relations with the environment in which we live or cultivate our ability to perceive music. The Synth Library - artist and curator Tamara Spajković and the sound creator and curator Marie Zdračková will take you through the sounds of the sounds.
👉 Event will take place in the evening during July and August in the area of Troja Castle. Newly at each event opening of the work in the Labyrinth of the Castle Garden.
