About event
Imagine a summer Saturday morning in the center of Trenčín. One long table, approximately 200 people, the smell of fresh coffee and breakfast prepared from quality regional ingredients.
Breakfast Behind the Table will bring a unique gastronomic experience, which for one morning will transform the center of Trenčín into a place for communal dining. Visitors, leading chefs from Slovakia, farmers and local producers will meet at one table to discover the tastes and stories of Slovak regions together.
The first year will also bring a battle of regional flavors. Each of the chefs will prepare their own breakfast menu from local ingredients and introduce the people behind them. Experiential dining in the open air awaits you, where each dish tells its own story.

After after breakfast, you can continue with the Za Stolom festival program, which Trenčín 2026 brings and during July 17 and 18, it will bring concerts, theater, discussions, lectures, film and other gastronomic experiences directly at one large community table in the center of Trenčín.
