🌲During the Christmas season, churches are beautifully decorated with trees and nativity scenes. Besides, it is definitely warmer in them than outside in winter. That's why we believe that this time you too will appreciate the opportunity to learn about history in the interior of the church. ⛪️
We will take a closer look at the history of the order, which came to Bratislava in 1676, learn about its most important milestones, times of prosperity and decline, and discuss in detail the architecture typical of Capuchin churches and monasteries, as well as their interior.
We will leave the church differently than we entered it. We will pass through the back part of the presbytery, which is inaccessible to ordinary visitors, and through the spaces of the crucifix, from where we can also see a small courtyard (the so-called Garden of Eden), we will go out to Zochova Street (near the public transport stop Zochova).
The Capuchin Monastery in Bratislava is inhabited , so the tour of the monastery rooms is not part of our tour.
