About event

Lovely People,

After a wonderful week full of events and ceremonies, we are honored to welcome back the special Yawanawá tribe — Ihuuuu! They have decided to celebrate their European tour here with us.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with the Amazon rainforest through their ancient wisdom, sacred teachings and powerful songs — a living tradition passed down from generation to generation.

Rapéh Circel

Tuikuru and Eriya will share one of the most sacred medicines among the Share Yawanawa with us. Rume (also known as rapé): a finely ground mixture of tobacco with other aromatic and medicinal plants, such as Tsunu. It is administered through a blowgun, both self-applied and — with much more powerful action — by a spiritually initiated person.

Rapéh is often used during medicine ceremonies to support focus, clarity and energetic attunement. It can also be used on its own to provide deep grounding and reconnection with nature, music and our inner selves.

With a strong, centering energy, rume is traditionally considered one of the most important tools of the ancient shamans. It was used to communicate with the spirits of the forest and to receive teachings on the path of wisdom.

After an absolutely amazing week of events and ceremonies, we are honored to welcome back these incredible members of the Yawanawa tribe as they have decided to conclude their Netherlands tour here! This is a unique opportunity to delve deeply into their ancient wisdom, sacred teachings, and powerful songs from the Amazon Rainforest.
