### RATTLE ###

2011 Katharine Eira Brown and Theresa Wrigley met by accidentally in the music scene Nottinghams, where they played in different local bands. The idea of exchanging their guitar-and-drum skills unexpectedly created a joint project when they found that they had more fun with a double drums. From 2012 they started to develop the sound with the first songs, which since then shapes them as a duo to experiment with percussive, swirling rhythms and tact sequences and their very own metrics, which sometimes also reminds of the weird female post-punk rhythms of The Slits. The base was found, only one band name was missing and it should sound onomatopoeic as possible. This great English word can best be translated in German with "noisy" and the two quickly agreed on Rattle.

2016 they published their debut album on the label "I own you records/ups the rhythm", which was highly praised by critics because of the hypnotic minimalism, which was also danceable. Live refined Rattle, among other things, in the preliminary program of "Animal Collective" and "The Julie Ruin", at their last appearance in Berlin they played as support for Sleaford Mods. In 2018 they published the EP Sequence, followed by the EP Encircle in February 2025 (Upset the Rhythm). Furthermore, they move in a clashed frame, which you expand with your musical imagination in order to create new songs from as simple ingredients as possible and on stage you have now developed a dramatic interaction that gives your appearances a theatrical element. The small plastic organ. The great surprise has scratches from No Wave and residues Post-Gaffa. Héloïse stands for this punk derivative without clamping clamps, maybe sounds like 1983 - but not as if nothing had happened forty years. The Zurich musician Sabina Leone is behind this trick, her name is Héloïse. Héloïse sits on her drums and sewes percussive patterns with fabric nets from off. Send me a techrider, but this cannot explain the magic. Sabina Leone does not have to explain anything: On the jump since 1993, thirty years, everything has happened and always a music in the head - in Italian with Sorelle Leone, on crossover and spoilage with Wemean, then when one said women's band. Now all of Héloïse.
