**This time a lecture that deals intensively with Raunächten and its rituals, the time around Christmas and the turn of the year.**

**The Raunächte - from driving out Percht (“Berscht”), being able to allow silence and contemplation, taking stock and oracles and – of course – smoking incense**
These are the quietest days and nights of the year.
And that's exactly why the Raunächte are one of the **most spiritually active times of the year** that we can use for ourselves and our loved ones.
They invite us to **look back** at the past year and **at the same time set the course for the year that lies ahead of us.**
Here we will introduce you to some **old and new customs and rituals** of this time, e.g. B. writing the Raunacht dream diary, meditating (learning), winter (forest) walks with mandala laying, burning grief, formulating wishes, the Klöcklennachts and Glöckler runs and much more.
Where does the term “*Rauhnächte*” or “*Rauhnächte*” actually come from and **from when to when do they last?**
How do people sense that these are “***days outside of time***” in which **many gates open**, for example the **Wild Hunt** heralds and the * *Perchten runs**. And also the **New Year's Eve fireworks**...

What **(healing, protective, blessing) effect** is and is promised by **burning certain herbs, resins and wood** and other materials? Which of these is scientifically proven? Which **smoking mixtures** could you use?
In this lecture we would like to introduce you to some **rituals of this magical time** (perhaps you can try it out for yourself...), **introduce historical and cultural-historical aspects** and tell you about our **own experience of celebrating and experiencing** these days tell e.g. B. Ilse: “*What? I should be grateful for what has been on my mind in the last year?! Go, please!! Doesn't matter??!! - - -*“

**Procedure of the evening:**

***from 5:00 p.m.:*** Admission at Hausmannskost, Dresdner Straße 72, 1200 Vienna
(ATTENTION the restaurant is now called **Gasthaus Simon** \- but it is still our Herbert\!

***6:30 p.m.:*** Start of the first part of the lecture

7:30 p.m.: 30 minute break

8:00 p.m.: 2nd part lecture

***End: approx. 9:00 p.m.***

The price is as follows: € 17 fee for Ilse & Georg,
€ 8 consumption voucher for the restaurant (instead of room rent) - if you order from the small menu.
