The webinar provides clear information about the current changes to the REACH and CLP regulations.
The REACH regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals) means, among other obligations, the mandatory registration of all chemical substances on the market EU (with exceptions), whether it concerns import or production, assessment of substances. Most of the responsibilities are transferred to the shoulders of the private sector and authorization, for very dangerous substances (substances of serious concern). is based on the Globally Harmonized System of the United Nations (GHS) and aims to ensure a high level of health and environmental protection, as well as the free movement of substances, mixtures and products.
The CLP Regulation is legally binding in all member states and directly applicable to all industries.
It imposes an obligation on manufacturers, importers or subsequent users of substances or mixtures to classify, label and package dangerous chemical substances in an appropriate manner before they are placed on the market.
