About event
Let others play hockey, we play metal!
Singer Turo, guitarist Lotvonen, bassist Pasi and drummer Jynkky have been the best and roughest metal band for 12 years. The problem is that they don't have a single song of their own yet and haven't played a single concert...
However, when they meet the manager of the most brutal festival Northern Damnation, they decide to grab the opportunity by the scruff of the neck and hand him a demo. In order to impress the beautiful Miia, Turo embellishes and exaggerates the whole thing a bit, and soon it is announced that the local band Impaled Rectum will perform at the festival. But unexpected complications arise and the band members must decide whether to give up and return to their everyday lives, or follow their dreams. Could a world-class metal band really be hiding in a small village somewhere on the outskirts of Finland?
As part of the Nordic Days 2024 festival and the #ReadNordicFilm series, we invite you to the Finnish comedy
