About event
With a bow in hand against the industrial giants
Fifty-year-old Halla is an apparently orderly choirmaster and teacher, but beneath the calm exterior lies more than meets the eye. The tough and uncompromising woman has a second life - she wages a private war against an aluminum processing plant and undertakes sabotage expeditions to prevent the plundering of the Icelandic landscape. The heroine of the film, skillfully combining elements of black comedy and drama about anxiety about the state of the world, thus solves the dilemma of many of us: How can we do our part to prevent an ecological and social catastrophe?
As part of the #ReadNordicFilm cycle, we invite you to an Icelandic comedy drama
