Friday, November 29, 2024 - from the morning in our record shop Vinyloveplatne.sk (sale with significant discounts) and in Caffee Bar Prašná bašta, where the acoustic presentation of the albums of the invited guests starts from approximately 4:30 p.m.

What exactly is it about ?
Black Friday is "Friday of discounts" and it is a global holiday of buying goods at a discount. For music retailers, Black Friday has another dimension. This is an event that is part of Record Store Day. This means that selected record shops (record stories) offer exclusive limited releases of music albums. The event includes autograph signings and acoustic presentations of albums by artists who support their favorite record shop with their participation.
Who will be our guest this year?
Vlado Nosal - songwriter, author of many songs sung in English. He is currently behind the Slovak-Scottish project Hotel Art - Elevator Music, which was released on a limited edition vinyl album. Vlado Nosal will perform the album in an acoustic version. The support of the performance will also be the record label Bruuder Records, which is the home record label of albums by Vlad Nosal and, for example, the bands Le Payaco and Youniverse.
The next guest is Parketový lev. The punk rock band recently released the album Z Mexika, part of which will be performed acoustically by the Hrčkovci brothers - members of the band.
Of course, the event will include autographs and a moderated commentary about the release of the albums and the artists' plans.
The acoustic presentation and autographs will be in friendly atmosphere and the interior of the Prašná bašta cafe (Coffee bar Prašná bašta) and during the event you can choose from the menu of drinks and coffee right in Prašná Bašta.

This is exactly what this event is for. Listen to the program, talk to the invited guests, get to know their musical plans and add to your vinyl collection at a bargain price.
Is there an entrance fee?
Of course not.
Is it possible to park somewhere?
There is an underground (paid) large garage "Klarisky" about 50 meters away. Or Zochova ulica, Palisády and the surrounding area, which are less than a 5-minute brisk walk from the stock exchange.
What else is important?
For example, that our brick-and-mortar record shop is nearby on the same street . During Record Store Day - Black Friday Edition, we will prepare an extra offer and discounts on selected vinyl albums. Stop by and maybe you'll pick up an interesting album or SP single for your vinyl collection.
