About event
Red Yarn is thrilled to return to Pivot Studio, located in the historic Village Ballroom on NE Dekum St, for his weekly Wednesday morning music & puppet show during the 25/26 school year! Families are invited to come sing, dance, and experience the joy of community with Red Yarn & his lovable critter puppets.
Red Yarn performs from 10:00-10:45 each Wednesday morning, excluding winter break and other occasional days off. $10-20/family sliding scale cover charge.
Red Yarn (aka Andy Furgeson) is a Texas-born, Oregon-based family performer who weaves music and puppetry into high-energy shows for all ages. With his engaging performances, rowdy folk-rock recordings, and playful music videos, this red-bearded bard reinvigorates American roots music traditions for younger generations. Red Yarn has been voted Portland’s Best Kindie Performer in the PDX Parent Reader Favorites Poll for eight years straight!
