The third part of the five-part series of lectures by FRANTIŠEK KALIVODA (1913–1971). VISIONS AND RETURNS OF MODERNISM
The lecture will be devoted to the activities of František Kalivoda as a graphic artist, typographer and editor of the magazines Kruh, Index, Mésíc / Der Monat, Středisko, Ekran and Telehor. In a broader context, the lecturer will focus on Kalivod's work for these avant-garde magazines and his collaboration with both Czech and foreign colleagues.
The lecture is given by Markéta Svobodová, researcher at the Department of Art-Historical Topography of UDU AVČR, free admission, reservation not required.
