Reimagining Ecological Landscapes Forging alliances and learning with struggles from Brazil
Event by: maiz brasil
Location: Spore Initiative, Hermannstraße 86, Berlin - Bezirk Neukölln
About event
Join us for two days of films, conversations, food and collective practices that connect art, ecology and resistance from Brazil to Berlin.
In a time of ecological collapse and political uncertainty, how can we repair what seems irreparable? How might we imagine justice that embraces not only human suffering but also the wounds of the earth?
This gathering invites us to reflect, listen, and learn with activists, scholars, and artists from Brazil confronting the enduring violence of extractivism. Marking ten years since the Mariana dam collapse and revisiting the Brumadinho disaster, we discuss paths toward reparation and collective transformation.
