The film tells the story of a group living in an underground prison. One night, the prisoners seize the opportunity and try to escape into the unknown. Using the power of a mystical being, one of the prisoners becomes the leader of the group, but becomes obsessed with power, which turns him into a despot. The dystopian film only uses dance cues - it tells the story with movements instead of words.
Zenit was made in a Hungarian-Slovak-Czech co-production, with Hungarian producer Ferenc Pusztai (Marsra Magyar!, A nyomozó, Szabadsés, Pál Adrienn, Fresh air, Forever), produced by KMH Film. The director of the film is György Kristóf, originally from Kassa, whose first feature film, Out, was featured in the Un Certain Regard competition program of the Cannes International Film Festival, the most prestigious film screening in the world. Zenit's leading dancer is Kossuth and Ferenc Liszt Prize winner Andrea Ladányi. The cinematographer of the film was Gergely Pálos, who also photographed Roy Andersson's works A pigeon sat on a branch to wonder about existence and Stories about infinity.

Vándor Láss evening with ZOLTÁN KOVÁCS KOVI:
"I will tell you about our autumn adventure in Peru that we organized.
We were in Cuzco, in the rain forest, in Indian villages, on Machu Picchu, in the Sacred Valley, among the impressive mountain range of the Andes, we made a sacrifice to Pacha Mama... and we returned home with many other experiences."
If you are interested in the Inca culture, the life of the indigenous people, the protection of the rainforest, the Amazon in general, you should come. Who knows, you might want to travel with this great company in the future.
