About event
Creative craft workshops will enliven the Žilina Market
During four summer days, the Žilina Market will be transformed into a place full of creativity, traditional crafts and new experiences. From July 7 to 10, 2026, always from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Creative Craft Workshops will take place here, offering visitors the opportunity to try various craft techniques directly under the guidance of experienced craftsmen.
The event is intended for all age categories - children, families and adults. Visitors will be able to learn about traditional crafts, discover new skills and create their own product. The workshops are built on a simple principle: it is better to try once than to hear a hundred times.
During four days, several craftsmen will present themselves at the Market, who will present their work not only with demonstrations, but especially with practical workshops. Visitors will thus have a unique opportunity to look into the world of traditional production and experience the craft firsthand.
Creative craft workshops are part of the program of the Žilina Cultural Summer 2026 and continue the effort to bring events that connect culture, community and creativity to the city center.
