THE CRAFT OF STORYTELLERS - A Little Bit of Prášil
A two-day workshop on the craft of storytelling. Let's swim in the Prášil narrative structure. Some know Baron Prášil, some don't. It sucks. Look forward to experiments, learning and improving storytelling skills, telling and listening, digging, laughing, live encounters.
Your own experience with the craft of storytelling comes in handy. But they are definitely not a condition for participation. The condition is the desire to play, the desire to rejoice in shared ideas, the desire to try what happens when we connect words and body and voice and try to find out how others see the world. Come.
1. day – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
2. day - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Content:
We will look at the structure of the Prášilov story, name its main characters, and then get into the whirlwind of the game with this structure and into attempts at own creation. We will kindly prepare the selected story pieces for telling "like in the theater". And myself too :-) During all of this, we are waiting for techniques and exercises for the craft training of storytellers and bits of mutual and lecturer feedback. motif, image, imagination, imagery and fantasy in relation to narrative work. We will practice the skills of storytelling (working with the eyes, working with the voice, sound, image-forming movement, ...) We will practice the art of a careful guide through the story and the world of the story so that "no one gets lost". We will tell stories in the "protected space of the workshop" and perhaps prepare to tell stories "in person - to yours", to children and adults.
