About event
Debate with the team of Reportéři ČT, mainly about the role of investigative journalism in public television.
During the hour and a half long debate, we will answer your questions from the audience as well as the online broadcast, which you can also watch on iVysílání, Facebook and YouTube.
Do investigative journalists have to resist political pressure? How do they cope with such pressures? What is the future of investigative journalism in the Czech media, especially in the public ones? What topics resonate the most at the moment?
And what are the ČT reporters currently dealing with? Come to Kino Kavalírka on Wednesday, June 17, for a live recording of the show.
After the broadcast, the event will continue informally in the outdoor areas of the cinema.
We have changed the originally planned date of the debate (Thursday, June 18, 2026) to Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in order to accommodate those of you who want to watch the match of the Czech national team at the World Cup on Thursday football. If someone has already purchased a ticket for 6/18, it remains valid for 6/17.
