The author's project of the students of the Hranice puppetry department explores the topic of personal boundaries in relationships, which is fundamental for the creator, as it deeply influenced his personal development. Through an introspective examination of his own story, the author reveals the inability to set healthy boundaries and tries to penetrate the causes of this problem. At the production level, the main principle is "self-confession", which frames the individual stories of the members of the creative team and unites them into a universal picture of human experience. 🫂
Directing principles include authenticity, where actors express unspoken emotions, and unified consciousness, inspired by Indian mythology, which emphasizes the unity of human experience. The project also draws on the generational memories of the team members, which are used in the artistic processing of the scene.
The themes of the project include generational trauma, self-confidence, people-pleasing, manipulation and personal growth, with each story trying to highlight the importance of personal boundaries as a key element of self-knowledge.
