"And when you go down that path, what else does it mean but that you somehow raise your life to some kind of higher cultural level..."
Game The Vernissage is Havel's one-act play from the 1970s. The story takes place in the apartment of Viera and Michal during the visit of their long-time friend František. They want to show him the newly acquired amount of diverse antiques and interesting objects, spend a pleasant evening with him. They will prepare Groombles with Woodpeak for him, prepare records from Switzerland. They want to light the fireplace, show Petuľek how he grew up...how incredibly curious, bright, perceptive he is...how everything works for them. And they especially want František to finally unravel the whole thing somehow. He is their best friend. 🎀. Elena Dusíková
