{RERUN} Sourdough Bread Workshop

Due to a very high interest in the first workshop, we decided to organize a 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 :)
This half-day workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of sourdough baking in a relaxed, hands-on environment. Together, we will explore everything you need to begin your sourdough journey with confidence: how to feed and maintain a healthy sourdough starter, how to understand sourdough recipes and baker’s percentages, and how to work with dough from autolyse through shaping. (The final baking step will be completed 𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞) Along the way, you’ll also learn practical tips and techniques to help you achieve great results in your own kitchen.
Each participant will 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞 of bread they want to make inside the workshop: either a free-form loaf or a sandwich bread.
A 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄-𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌 𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐅 provides a more difficult challenge for a beginner baker, but if you are up to it, you will be rewarded with an aerated crumb and a thick, crunchy crust. The 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐂𝐇 𝐋𝐎𝐀𝐅 has a thinner crust, an even crumb and is more forgiving with an overproofed loaf and a not-so-perfect shaping. Whatever bread you decide to make inside the workshop, you will learn the process for both of them, as you will get a chance to look at the other participants' efforts.
The workshop includes a snack break, where we will have sourdough bread (of course!) and different spreads.
At the end of the workshop, you will receive 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫, a beginner baker's kit and the dough made together during the workshop, which you will bake in your home oven.
