SIGN LANGUAGE WORKSHOP FOR MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS AND STUDENTS OF MEDICAL FIELDS - rescueDEAF.

PLACE: LF UPJŠ, Tr.SNP, Košice, 7th floor, Auditorium E4
TIME: 17:00-19:00
ADMISSION: 2 euros (cash payment on site)
CAPACITY: 20 people

SCHEDULE:
1. part 30 min introduction to the world of the deaf and hard of hearing, principles of communication with a deaf patient
2. part: 100 gestures for basic communication, patient examination and treatment, history taking
3. part: model situations, communication training with a helper and in pairs
The event is organized thanks to the support of the SPP Foundation within the 3rd round of the Partnership Support Program 2023 in the rescueHENDIKEP project. The activity is part of the INFA (Inclusive First Aid) project of Samaritan International.
Registrants will be sent an email with more detailed information the day before the event. A manual with photo instructions will also be sent.
