About event
We invite you to the student interactive exhibition Respira democracy! (Breathe democracy!), which we are preparing together with the history teaching students at the Department of History of the FF UPJŠ in the premises of the Platón building, at Moyzesová 9 in Košice. For the first time, we will present democracy through the metaphor of the human body. Become with us the carriers of oxygen so that we can shout together: Breathe democracy!
The exhibition analyzes the vital functions of democracy through the metaphor of the human body, where on a timeline in the form of an EKG curve it shows the state democracy was in from the 1st Czechoslovakia to the present day. Students will present the anamnesis of democracy, show how its vital organs work, what threatens the vital functions of democracy and what each of us can do today to keep democracy breathing. The visitor of the exhibition, as a carrier of oxygen, makes responsible decisions to find out what he himself can do in his daily life to save the "patient" (democracy).
We look forward to seeing you.
