Rethink architecture: Chaty a chalupy

Cottage, cottage and trips to forests and mountains are an essential part of Czech identity. However, the phenomenon of leakage from civilization to the cottage and finding peace in the wild has its problematic aspects. They are associated with individual transport or overrturism, for example. In addition, building a "green meadow" is not sustainable in principle. If we still decide to build on how to make the construction and operate as environmentally friendly as possible and also with low carbon footprint? In the first lecture of Rethink Architecture, we will focus on recreational cottages, alpine cottages, but also on self -help reconstruction. In connection with this we will talk about more sustainable materials, renovations, re-use, technologies and gentle operation of these recreational buildings. . The lecture is part of the Life Climarchibase project, which is co -financed by the EU and the Ministry of the Environment.
