We are happy to present the eleventh continuation of our best Košice RETRO PARTY!
This time in the historic premises of the House of Arts, you will be entertained by Czechoslovak top stars - singer BEÁTA DUBASOVÁ and popular Czech singer PETR KOTVALD!
They will be accompanied by DJs legends TIBOR "APA" EGRY and the first ever Czechoslovak DJ MAJA MIKULIČOVÁ, will be joined by the oldies group of DJs "80s & 90s MUSIC FACTORY", a dance group from the dance school of Adriana Vrbová and others.
The fun will also be on oldies video-disco with another DJ legend - Július "APUCI" Hrabušický. There will be a traditional midnight raffle for valuable prizes.
The doors of the House of Arts open on Friday at 19:40. The event starts at 20:30. Moderated by Mr. Richard Herrgott. A small snack is also included in the price of the seat ticket. The TOP seating ticket price also includes Prosecco and fruit.
Attention: the number of tickets is limited and their price may increase.
Petr Kotvald is a leading Czech singer who together with He formed a singing duo with Stanislav Hložko, especially popular in the 80s of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. Their biggest hit, which has sold more than a million copies, is called "Girls from our Kindergarten". In 1986, Kotvald started a solo career and has been performing with his own group Trik ever since.
He has more than 30 released albums and is constantly actively singing and performing. In Košice, we had the opportunity to see him in the past, for example, at the Retro Party event.
Beáta Dubasová is a well-known Slovak pop singer who made a significant impact on the domestic popular scene in the second half of the 80s. With her hits and extravagant appearance, she became a "teenage idol" at the beginning of her career, while maintaining great popularity during the 90s. Beáta Dubasová started her professional career in 1984, when she hit the domestic airwaves with the successful song "Maznáčik", later with the song "Účesy". She released her debut album Beáta (1987) three years later, which included another potential hit, the songs "We are the same as we are" and "Girl from an ad".
