Rétvári Márton Gergely: Rétorika

How do words convince us? What makes the speech authentic, convincing, or even memorable? In his presentation, Márton Rétvári surrounds the basic concepts and functioning of rhetoric, while presenting the tools of effective speech through classic and contemporary examples. The performance can be useful not only for those who publicly appeared, but also to anyone who wants to use the language more consciously - whether orally or in writing. Its educational areas include rhetoric, communication theory and media communication. As a student, he won the national Lajos Kossuth Speech Competition and has been active in the development of rhetorical crafts ever since. He has been leading rhetoric courses at the Hungarian College of Bratislava for many years, where he combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, helping students in an effective public speech.
