About event
Reuse day at Čecháč in Vršovice!
Genius location and with it a chance to get rid of excess things and give them a second chance at a great swap. At the same time, you will find something for yourself, we will support the non-profit organization point50 and I will discuss reuse tips and tricks.
SWAP - bring extra things in beautiful condition that you have at home, you can find something that suits you. Carry furniture, clothes, small items from the house and garden, accessories, books, maids. The Swap Prague team sorts things on the spot, irons them and prepares them in such a way that the person who needs them can take them immediately.
The entire accompanying program here:
🩷Big swap of clothes, books, household items, sports and children's items, smaller furniture
❤️Installation of a reuse room
🧡Workshop with ReMyšl
💛Example of a zero-waste household
💚Repair shop - bring your sick device the size of a microwave for repair, the diagnosis or repair will be successful on the spot, thanks, Repair shop!
🩵Benefice Point50+
🧡i1art - workshop using LP records and examples of upcycling
💜Moderated inspirational inputs on the microphone, how to be smart about sustainability
And why do we do all this? Education towards sustainable and gentle habits proves to be a prevention of overproduction and unthrifty and insensitive behavior towards nature and communities. That's why I will discuss ways to extend the life of things and bring them back into play.
The co-organizers of the event from the organization SWAP PRAGUE remind: "Don't forget that by reusing things, shopping wisely and sparingly, ideally local, sorting, recycling and sending things, we continue to save energy, the planet and extend the life cycle of products. Thank you for riding with us, sewing and repairing and caring."
