About event
On Sunday, June 14, we will meet for the third time at "Kulaťák" and celebrate sustainability on Reuse Sunday with a big swap, workshops and other inspiration. If you still have a surplus of super things at home that no longer serve you, but you want to treat them with respect, feel free to bring them to the swap, you will definitely find something for yourself and we will learn not only how to extend the life of things and return them to the game.
From 11 o'clock we will remind ourselves in the most fun way, i.e. swap, the value of second-hand things and materials, we will exchange our surpluses from cupboards, homes, garages or gardens.
Whole program:
🩷Big swap of clothes, books, household items, sports and children's items, smaller furniture
❤️Installation of a reuse room
🧡Benefits for the Dobrodějna project, they will also take the microphone and take care of the rest of the things
💛Repair shop - bring your sick device the size of a microwave for repair, the diagnosis or repair will be carried out on the spot, thanks, Repairable!
💚Bieno - on the spot they will present their activities and tips for revitalizing the inner blocks
🩵Paluba - a place where not only children stop to puzzle over their brains
💙DDM workshop: with them you can try weaving from textile waste and create your own mat, placemat or coaster. He will show you how to give new meaning to old fabrics and turn them into practical and beautiful products. The activity is suitable for children and adults.
💜Moderated inspirational inputs on the microphone, how to be smart about sustainability
🩷Metrofarm - project of urban and suburban community gardening and farming
❤️Adventure playground Vypich will present Bár and will have one kit with him and show it to you!
🧡Pink car - you will be refreshed with coffee and limo in circular cups @plastia
And why do we do all this? Education towards sustainable and gentle habits proves to be a prevention of overproduction and unthrifty and insensitive behavior towards nature and communities. Therefore, there will be lectures and workshops for children and adults, demonstrations of renovated furniture and lectures on how to extend the life of things and show the circular economy in a playful way for everyone.
Reuse Sunday at six is a joint initiative of the Prague 6 Municipal District, the City Hall. m. of Prague, the organization Swap Prague, together we will put things back into circulation, together we have the power to give things a new life, a second chance, it makes sense and the planet and the neighbors will thank you
