"Don't curse at the mirror when you have a crooked mouth."

A satirical comedy that has not lost its relevance over the years. In every society, there are always hidden conceited bribers and fearful flatterers, and often only an innocent mistake reveals the true characters and relationships. Gogol's Auditor is a mirror of ourselves, a mirror that does not mock, but makes us laugh, like a refined anecdote that hits the nail on the head.
