About event
An evening of three different pairs, in some ways very similar, in some things quite different.
𝐑𝐄𝐘𝐊𝐎
Alt-pop duo originally from Spain, currently based in London, will bring to Klubovna their eclectic mix of everything from psychedelic pop, electronica to art-punk. The captivating voice of the singer Soleil, the catchy melodies and the sonically interesting materials of Igor together will bring you an incredibly pleasant musical experience. "Sometimes moody and atmospheric, sometimes vibrant and energetic" they say. The fact that you may recognize some of the songs from selected series on Netflix is just an interesting
bonus.
𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐊𝐊𝐔
Israeli live-looping indie pop duo that grew up on western music and now draws inspiration from Middle Eastern culture. The members of Ice Hokku are Julia and Anton. Julia Garnits provides most of the vocals, emotional content, visual art and spontaneity. Her opposite is Anton Dmitriev, a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist whose domain is production, reason and calculation. They complement each other perfectly and their music is definitely worth hearing.
𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐌𝐘
The evening will be opened by a third duo - Dorota Barová and Jan Valík in the experimental folk music project PoloMy. Imagine pure tones and beautiful singing reminiscent of poetics of the forest, when a gale comes in it
disturbing with screams and filth.
“And unknown are the breaks. In short, we are a forest and half us."
The concert is part of the offer of the Prague Music Week Pass - a season ticket that offers entry to 34 concerts and 3 theater performances in a total of 13 Prague clubs from October 28 to November 7 .
