About event
Dreaming from Petrkov
The poetic theater production from the life of the poet Bohuslav Reynek and the poet Suzanne Renaud
screenplay, choreography, director: Martin Dvořák
Music: Beata Hlavenková We build on the dramaturgical line begun by Blatný, Skácel, Orten and Holan. The performance is again formed on the "body" of Werich's villa and Villa Loew Beer. The text is based on the sources of the life of the poet Suzanne Renaud, the wife of the painter and the poet Bohuslav Reynek, and their poetic work. Their life on the Petrkov farm in the Highlands creates the main inspiration source of our piece. The poetry of both of them and the dramatic-Prosaic text by Martin Dvořák, inspiring the book by Lucie Tučková Petrkov 13, become the story line of our multi-genre performance. The production is introduced on the centenary of the life of these two extraordinary personalities of Czech culture in 1923. The author of the music is Beata Hlavenková.
