Rezbársky svet Martina Meššu

Carving art and the work of the Master of Folk Art Production Martin Mešša is in the spirit of the symbiosis of his family and professional background with an accent for individuality and creative abilities. He found the space for expressing chosen topics on washing and mangling pistons. The relief is carved by sacral scenes, which is systematically found in large European and Slovak architectural, art and literary monuments, as well as motifs known from our folk art culture (musicians, dancers, Janosik). He expresses his feelings through statues, embossed paintings or oversized statues. His works arouse feelings of optimism and life joy, they are deeply survived and human. On the occasion of the Master's jubilee, the installation will last from 19 May to 25 June 2025. to Friday | 13.00-17.00 h
