Dora Kaprálová: Winter book about love
There is one man. I love him tenaciously like a caterpillar. He rather runs away and I don't blame him in the least. He runs, I chase, and if he chases me, I run. But, I have to admit, he doesn't really chase me anymore. He just runs away if he has to. I don't begrudge him. He loves me aesthetically, it is the love of an ascetic athlete running towards the finish line, somewhere north, there still north, running and running so that he doesn't see how much I want to keep him with me because I don't want to; I don't want him to go through it all too quickly. To disappear. Because there is nothing beyond the goal. Not even the reindeer. Just cold, dark and cold.
