January experiential rum tasting in Bratislava
Do you like rum? Great! Don't you drink rum? Maybe you should come taste and start. Join us and come taste quality rums from the Caribbean, Central and South America - the seventh AlkoTip tasting in Bratislava. During the lecture, you will learn about the history, origin, production, blending, maturation, you will learn about important brands, manufacturers and many interesting things. The tasting is guided and you will be guided by the enthusiastic rumer Vladimír Rejholec.

P̲r̲i̲e̲b̲e̲h̲ ̲a̲k̲c̲i̲e̲:̲
· we will start with an interactive lecture about the history of rum, the production process, important producers and interesting things (presentation on the big screen)
· then we will gradually taste 6 rums from the Caribbean, Central and South America
· the selection includes something sweeter, drier, wild and rare
· the tasting is controlled, so you get an interesting explanation for each sample
· there is a short break about halfway through
· after the tasting a competition and free debate
S̲p̲o̲l̲u̲ ̲o̲c̲h̲u̲t̲n̲á̲m̲e̲ ̲6 ̲s̲k̲v̲e̲l̲ý̲c̲h̲ - rum from 🇨🇴 Colombia from 2 varieties of sugar cane, matured also in barrels after coffee liqueur
⓷ 𝑗𝑗𝐾𝑜𝑜𝗫𝗢 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝘅𝘅 𝗙Finish, 43% - 12-15 years old sweet 🇩🇴 Dominican with additional maturation in ex-Limoux barrels
⓸ 𝟳𝟯1 Belize 𝟳 Y.O., 46% - 7 year old rum in which you can find a typically delicious 🇧🇿 Belizean taste profile
⓹ Plantation Single Cask Trinidad 2011, Burgundy Red Wine (Pinot Nori) Cask, 49.2% - single casks from 🇹🇹 Trinidad aged in bourbon barrels, Ferrand cognac and red Burgundy wine (only 102 bottles for Slovakia)
⓺ Bellamy's Jamaica Clarendon 2006, 52% - 15-year-old, tropically matured, ester 🇯🇲 Jamaica, single cask (only 292 bottles for the world)
· Snacks - chocolate, dried fruit, water and bread to neutralize the taste
