Richard Aradský (1982) is a graduate of the Faculty of Education, UKF in Nitra. He is dedicated to sculptures, objects and installations, which he creates from natural materials with respect for the environment and nature. He is a member of the nature art group IN SITU, an umbrella group of artists with Hungarian-Slovak roots united around a symposium held by the Danube River.
The author's project U – Transcript (Urban Transcript) is a continuation of Richard Aradský's previous project – Transcription, the basis of which was the landscape and nature of floodplain forests. The current project works with the urban environment and is conceived as a site-specific intervention for Galéria Výklad. The objects installed in the gallery will be accompanied by a sound recording, which is a transcription of the electromagnetic action in the urban environment - the immediate surroundings of the Výklad Gallery. Sound recordings were the basis for the creation of spatial objects, where their formal side represents a personal and subjective perception of sound vibrations. With his exhibition, Aradský explores new possibilities of perceiving matter, based on unexplored perceptions, while using exclusively natural materials from local sources. art.
