About event

Richard Autner, actor and singer, performing in the theater productions of the Slovak National Theater, Arena Theater, P. O. Hviezdoslav Theater and you can also recognize him from Slovak series and films, or from the dance show Let's Dance. He will convince you that he is also a great musician together with his band at a concert on December 14, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

He came to music while studying acting at the conservatory, where met the drummer Marek Žilinec for the first time, with whom a few years later they produced the successful album Odpovede, founded a band, started performing concerts all over Slovakia and enjoy great favor from the audience.

The debut album tries to find answers to many questions about life, death, existence and relationships. He won the 2021 Tatrabanka Foundation Award for Art in the category MUSIC – Young Creator and was also nominated in the top 5 Radio_Head Awards 2021 in the Debut of the Year category.

He is joined by exceptional musicians in the band – Marek Žilenec (drums, percussion), Boris Čellár (guitar), Milan Koyš (bass guitar), Valér Miko (piano), Janko Slezák (saxophone) and Karol Sipos (trumpet).

Actor and musician Richard Autner recently presented the second song Vtáky from the upcoming second album. It is a beautiful, intimate ballad full of symbolic references. About the land abandoned by birds. The first single was the duet Len nám dvom with Nela Pocisková.

"I wrote the song Vtáky during the pandemic period. Periods of fear, recrimination and unrelenting conflict between two hostile camps. Everyone had their own truth and only theirs was the only right one. Anyone who thought otherwise became the culprit responsible for the madness out there. I felt as if fear had taken over everything. The joy disappeared and the few rare smiles had to remain hidden under the cloak of secrecy," says Richard Autner
