Richard Jewell

DOX invites you to a summer movie night under the stars. The audience can be affected by the Richard Jewell biopic.

Clint Eastwood has enriched his directorial filmography with another film based on a true event. The film, named after the main protagonist Richard Jewell, returns to 1996, when during the XXVI. During the summer Olympics in Atlanta, a security agency worker, Richard Jewell, managed to save thousands of lives by finding a backpack with an explosive. However, the initially celebrated hero later becomes the main suspect due to manipulative and misleading information from the media. The launched media campaign then slowly destroys the heroism of one man in the eyes of the nation, and this, together with the debilitating investigation by the FBI, makes his hitherto peaceful life literally hell on earth.
