Ridina Ahmedová and Petr Tichý have known each other for a long time. After years of meeting in different lineups, the time has come to fulfill an old dream - to play original music just as a duo. Acoustically, cleanly, stripped down. Without the usual padding with other instruments.
Actually, there are three of them - the third voice is the loopstation, which layers double bass and vocals into subtle and denser areas.
Music in two is naked. And that's where her strength lies. Chamber space brings clear barriers, but at the same time unexpected freedom.
There is both fragility and strength in it. When only two instruments remain, they can meet really close.
Ridina Ahmedová, winner of awards and nominations (including the Anděl Award) and author of award-winning albums, and Petr Tichý, a prominent double bass player of the Czech scene who collaborate on a number of projects and recordings, open up a new space for their own, intimate statement.
