About event
Ritournelle is a performative format developed by Anaïs Héraud-Louisadat and Till Baumann. It explores the particular relationship between material, words and experience. It blurs the lines between deep intimacy and expression. It creates a temporary transitional meeting space between the inner and outer worlds, image and sound, performers and spectators.
The artistic duo Héraud/Baumann has been working together since 2012. The entire research connected with the Ritournelle project and method is influenced by their collaboration from the start. They still perform with the format today and continue to explore its performativity. So far, it has been presented in Helsinki, Berlin, Rotterdam, Kaunas, Liege, San Salvador and others. They live and work in Berlin.
