Only self-written texts may be presented.
Each speaker has 7 minutes.
The texts can not only be read, but also presented as a performance. That means you can scream, whisper, whine and pant. Anything that is possible with your voice and body is permitted. Costumes and props are not allowed.
There are no requirements whatsoever in terms of content or form. Almost all forms of modern literature are possible, from classic fragile poetry to stand-up comedy to prosaic short stories.
The audience chooses three winners who receive a small prize.
Writers, original text performers, occasional poets, leisure prose writers and hobby writers are called upon to delight the Neukölln audience with their creations.
